Low voltage electrical cable is used for electrical power transmission and distribution lines with AC rated voltage Uo/U up to and including 0.6/1kV. For outdoor and indoor installation in damp and wet locations, laid directly in the ground where excessive mechanical stresses are present in sloping and moving terrains and in vertical or inclined laying as well as in locations susceptible to sliding.

LOW VOLTAGE UNDERGROUND CABLE FEATURES

 

1. The highest allowed operating temperature of conductor for long-term working:

70℃ (pvc insulated cable) 

90℃ (xlpe insulated cable)

 

2. In short-circuit (Max. Long term is no more than 5 seconds) the highest temperature for conductor is no more than:

160℃ (pvc insulated cable)

250℃ (xlpe insulated cable)

 

3. D.C Resistance of the conductor complies with the stipulations of GB/T3956-1997.

 

4. The environment temperature should be no lower than 0℃ when lay. Otherwise it should be preheate.

 

5.The cable is laid without horizontal drop limit. The Min. Bending radius of three core cable should be no smaller than 12 times of cable outer diameter.

 

6. Working Frequency Voltage Test:.

For cable with Uo of 3.6kv~18kV: 3.5Uo/5min without puncture.
