XLPE Electrical Cables Application:
XLPE insulated electrical cable has more advantages than PVC insulated electrical cable including the characteristics of high electric strength, mechanical strength, anti-chemical corrosion etc. In addition xlpe cable has higher long-term working temperature and current-carrying capacity than PVC cable. So xlpe cable is widely used in indoor, tunnel, canal, power plant etc.
XLPE Electrical Cables Service Characteristics:
1. The long working temperature of xlpe cable should not be higher than 90℃.
2. The temperature should not exceed 250℃ in short-circuit (max. 5s).
3. The ambient temperature should be above 0℃ otherwise the cable should be preheated when installed.
4. Bending radius of cable:
single core cable: 20*(D+d)±5% 2~5 core cable: 15*(D+d)±5%
